Day Two as a mother of three, and I have discovered The Chrysler Stow N Go is not a cool, rad, must have minivan. Friends....it is the devils workshop. : )
Picture this...Im a mom of one, who is used to strapping in one toddler who can basically strap himself in. We've got a compact car, and a family size sedan, so getting in and out is pretty easy. But this? This alien shop of a vehicle, with doors that randomly open and close? screens that come down from the ceiling unannounced? and headspace that cons you into thinking you can actually stand up inside...when you are BOUND to crack your noggin on the ceiling at least once?
Notice the lady in the picture. She looks so sweet and pleased to put her things away in various secret compartments. But look even closer. THERE ARE NO KIDS IN THIS PICTURE!!!!! If she were trying to put her kids in this car there would be steam coming from her ears!!!!
Needless to say...we've had a great day so far. Ben made the boys breakfast and dressed all three of them while I took a shower and dressed. Once he left for work, we ventured to the park. I must say keeping an eye on 3 boys on a jungle gym the size of a water park is a challenge, but I managed. Everyone was all smiles til it was time to go.
Thankfully , this evening one of my friends from the church may stop by for some adult interaction. She's a mom of 6, so this will be a piece of cake for her.
Well, I'm off to wash dishes and clean up toys......and sneak in a nap. : )
